Karen’s whimsical styled paintings often have a surreal, dream-like quality, and include still life and images reflecting her former life on the land. Karen is still connected to the Swan Hill area through family and friends and has sent down two beautiful pieces for us to include in this year’s collection. Inspired by the story behind our exhibition her second artwork is on the lid of a Habana cigar box.
