Inspired by the Boab trees growing in Swan Hill’s main street, and attendance at a workshop with Merlyn Kemp in2021, Lorri’s ‘Crazy Boabs’ have been created using acrylic and pen and symbolise the vibrancy found within our community. Initially self-taught, Lorri re-discovered her passion while attending workshops, leading her to complete university studies in fine art. Lorri has been creating for years, painting or drawing daily. She enjoys sharing her art with others especially with the Mallee Artists of Swan Hill. Lorri is a qualified counsellor and teacher and offers “Art Therapy” from her home studio in Woorinen.
